NNDSWO (1982) is a network based organization having its district chapters in 74 districts in Nepal. NNDSWO envisions an equitable and prosperous society free from all forms of discrimination, exploitation and poverty where human rights, social justice and dignity of all are equally respected. Its Mission is to 'eliminate caste-based discrimination and untouchability and empower people for dignified life'. Human rights, governance, education and livelihood are four core thematic programme areas of NNDSWO. Gender equality, conflict transformation, youth empowerment, and advocacy on inclusive DRR are major crosscutting themes. It has successfully managed projects on human rights, governance, education, adolescent empowerment, etc. in all regions of Nepal in partnership with a dozens of inter/national partners/donors.

Currently, we are seeking competent and committed candidates for the following position:

Admin Finance Assistant – 1 (NNDSWO's Central Office)


Admin Finance Assistant is responsible to support Admin & Finance Coordinator for effective and efficient financial management within the agreed policy guidelines of NNDSWO ensuring compliance with SAJHA AAWAJ Project and all good governance requirements.


Ø  Support in appropriate record keeping, book keeping and financial documentation of each (program/activity) expenditure on behalf of the project and as per the organizational accounting standard and state rules and regulations to be followed;

Ø  Ensure  tax deducted at source (TDS)  by preparing payment schedule and deposition in time;

Ø  Ensure the collection of monthly financial report of district office and partners with all supporting documents in each month within set reporting deadline;

Ø  Support the collection of quarterly fund request of projects from districts to central office on timely manner;

Ø  Support in the payment of projects and fund disbursement of districts and partners as per requirement;

Ø  Support Admin and Finance Coordinator for record keeping of staff leave and monthly timesheets;

Ø  Ensure collection of bank statement by preparing request letter and reconciliation of statement and maintain the cheque details;

Ø  Maintain the assets register ensuring its accuracy and maintain the stock book of non-recurring items ensuring inventory maintained at appropriate levels

Ø  Support in logistic arrangements of the project activities conducted at central office;

Ø  Support in daily operation of central office of the organization;

Ø  Carry out staff supervision and give guidance to all staff through mentoring and coaching.

Ø  Carry out staff appraisal, needs assessment and prepare training programs.

Ø  Reporting to supervisor about progress and challenges of project and staffs every month.




Academic Qualification

Intermediate/ +2 level  in management


·     Minimum two years’ work experience in NGO admin and finance sector

Knowledge and Skills

·         Computer skill is must.

·         Understanding of GoN rules and regulations, acts and policies regarding non-profit/social sector

·         Good coordination skills

·         Knowledge of socio-economic and political context of Nepal

·         Familiarity with social inclusion issues will be added advantage

·         Good communication skills in both Nepali and English

          Follow the Code of Conduct, policies, norm, constitution and values of NNDSWO

          Organizational loyalty, committed to work towards the sustainability and development of NNDSWO

          Proactively and creatively seek out opportunities to progress the Dalit rights and promote non-discrimination at every level

          Ensure the official confidentiality of NNDSWO in any external communications

          Willingness to conduct field visits while necessary
